ODI App Admin

Experience: 6-10 years

Technical Skills Required:

  • Installation, maintenance, configuration and upgrading of Oracle ODI software and related products.
  • Should be able to start and stopping the application’s services
    Configuration and Management of ODI Agents
  • Monitoring the application’s related products.
  • Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Taking care of the ODI application design and implementation
  • Implement and maintain ODI Application security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
  • Work as part of a team and provide 24×7 support when required
  • Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams.
  • Should be troubleshooting in case of any problems
    Patch Management and Version Control.
  • Should be able to perform application tuning and performance monitoring
  • Should be able to CLONE DEV/TEST environments from PROD.
  • Good Knowledge in OS like Linux/Unix and Windows etc, as ODI software, will be installed on these OS.
  • Very good understanding of Oracle core database architecture and concepts
  • Capacity planning (should know how large the database currently is and how fast it is growing in order to make predictions about future needs)
  • Should have sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors and systems administrators
  • ODI code deployment and restoration process
